The game is aiming to tell a story of a puppy trying to make it to their dream place.

This is a game made in the class CTIN-532 in USC, and this is also a collaborative project with students from Berklee College of Music

Description

Players play as a puppy, by controlling when the to wag their tail and what direction it points in, the player could interact and communicate with other creatures.

Nature is a place where every creature lives in peace, tranquility and harmony, with a cycle of life and death. We are always a part of it and we can go anytime to experience the freedom, vastness, and the magic that nature brings to us.

Production

During the developement process, we used several methods to manage the process of development.

Including using Game Design Macro, Burndown charts, Audio Assets List to communicate with teammates and the whole team. We also used Perforce for version control.

Playtests

We used Metrics and Survey to track and visualize the playtests' data, to iterate and improve the experience of playing the game.

3D Arts

This is also the first time I'm in charge of the assets of the game's models, animations and UI elements.

We used Root motion to match the stepes with the animations of the main character.
